When and how did the Kratos character develop?


Ashley was  part of a crew called Version One, and they were formerly known as the Spartans. He could never really find a character for himself and what complicated the situation even more was that he had to choose between doing Krump or  hip hop choreography. He just couldn't make a decision until he came across a game that was called God of war. In this game one would play a character called Kratos. He played the game and as he progressed he found out that Kratos is a Spartan, he liked this concept of the character Kratos and it linked up nicely to what he did with the crew he was with. He started researching on Spartans what they were like and  particularly the Kratos character of the game and applied it to his Krump.

Ashley’s information said that Kratos was a myth, a demi god as it was believed. He took this concept with this in mind, God lives inside of every born-again human being and gives us power and strength to overcome and declare victory over the enemy and like Kratos the character, Ashley believes that God gives his character the strength to overcome.​​
