​RFK in association with CONVERSE presents Fam Feuds.

Fam Feuds is a free street dance request battle platform. Fam Feuds was created in the midst of a need by dancers to battle outside of the competition arena, many complained of restrictions within the competition environment, too much talking within the street dance community and lack a of opportunity to battle to earn respect or to handle disputes arising from competitions. As such the Fam Feuds platform was created in 2011 which allowed dancers to request battles and to have the platform they were asking for. At this platform dancers are encouraged to handle all disputes on the dance floor and to battle in the spirit of bringing your best to the dance floor. Fam Feuds occurs three times a year in the months of April, July and October. Beyond just being a request battle platform Fam Feuds is also an opportunity for street dancers to socialize and showcase their ability. Fam Feuds has attracted an audience that ranges from toddlers to grandparents and everyone in between. Dancers come from all over Cape Town and the Western Cape to witness this event and Fam Feuds has even had guests from Pretoria, Durban and Nelspruit come down to Cape Town to battle. The event seeks to continually grow and expand and to remain Cape Town’s premiere street dance request battle platform
